Chrysalis Environmental Services, Inc. is working hard to raise the necessary funds needed to keep the Eureka! Needle Disposal as a FREE SERVICE TO YOU. We are working with potential sponsors to cover the cost of maintaining and up-dating the kiosk as well as the monthly medical waste disposal costs. Please be patient and continue to check back to this site for updates.

We ask that you continue to contain your sharps properly and store them in a safe place until the site nearest you re-opens. If you travel into the state of Massachusetts you may want to check the available sites there, as one may be convenient for you.

ATTENTION RHODE ISLAND RESIDENTS

As of November 1, 2009 SharpSmart/Eureka! Residential Needle Disposal Program will be temporarily closed due to the closing of the Diabetes Foundation of Rhode Island.
In response to this news Chrysalis Environmental Services, LLC has decided to seek funding to keep the program running free of cost to Rhode Island residents. In order to achieve this each site must be evaluated to determine the condition of the kiosk and whether the site should continue to operate. Some sites may require new equipment ,updating or change of address.
Please check back periodically to this site to find updated information regarding the re-opening of each site and the location of new sites through out Rhode Island.
